Duration
1 session: 2 hours
Workshop Flow:
1. Theoretical introduction:
We start with a brief introduction to the world of ceramics. We avoid imposing specific themes so that everyone feels comfortable. For undecided participants, we’re happy to provide guidance.
2. Practical part – molding:
We assist individually in choosing the appropriate molding technique for your chosen subject. We’re with you throughout, offering advice and answering your questions.
3. Practical part – decoration:
You’ll be able to decorate your finished pieces with stamps and engobes, adding color to your creations.
As part of the workshop, we provide two glasses of wine, coffee, tea, and light refreshments.
Additional information!
After the workshops, the pieces are dried, fired twice in a ceramic kiln, and in the meantime, covered with transparent glaze. The final pieces are ready for pickup after approximately 3 weeks. The selected glazes and firing temperature of around 1240 degrees Celsius allow for food-safe contact. You can also wash the pieces in a dishwasher.
How to prepare for the Workshops?
During the workshop, each participant will receive a protective apron. The studio is heated, but be prepared for slightly cooler temperatures in winter. If possible, come with short nails—it’s much more convenient. 🙂
Who are the workshops for?
The workshops are suitable for both beginners and intermediate participants who want to spend creatively in the studio.
Minimum number of participants:
4 people. If there aren’t enough participants, we’ll offer a new date or provide a refund for those who have already paid.
