Workshop Flow:
1. Theoretical Introduction:
We’ll start with a brief introduction to the world of pottery. You’ll learn how to prepare clay for throwing and how to operate the pottery wheel. Then, we’ll show you the step-by-step process of creating a basic bowl—covering centering the clay, throwing, shaping the walls, and forming the base.
2. Practical Part:
Now it’s your turn to throw! We’ll be there to guide you, answer your questions, and provide assistance throughout.

Additional information!
After the workshops, your creations will be dried, double-fired in a ceramic kiln, and coated with transparent glaze. The final pieces will be ready for pickup in approximately 2-3 weeks. The chosen glazes and firing temperature allow the pottery to be food-safe and dishwasher-friendly.

If you dream of a colorful bowl and want to glaze your work yourself, we can arrange a second session where we’ll teach you how to prepare your piece for glazing and apply the glaze. You’ll add your own personal touch to the finished piece.

How to prepare for the workshops?
We’ll provide protective aprons during the workshops, but feel free to wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty. The studio is heated, but be prepared for cooler temperatures in winter. If possible, come with short nails—it’s much more convenient for working on the pottery wheel. 😊

Who are the workshops for?
The workshops are suitable for both beginners and intermediate participants who want to spend creatively in the studio.

Minimum number of participants:
2 people. In case there are not enough participants, they will receive a proposal for a new date or a refund of the previously paid amount.
